Chamber presents its greetings and informs you with the letter
of the Saudi Organization for Standardization, Metrology and Quality
(No. 1555) date 3/3/1439, referring to the decision of the Council of
Ministers No. (216) dated 17/6/1436, "The Committee is concerned with the development and
adoption of standard specifications and the publication of these
specifications in ways that the Authority deems necessary to ensure the
quality of national products and to enable national products to compete
in local and international markets and to protect the Kingdom's markets
from counterfeit and counterfeit goods."
The TRA advises that it has issued a number of technical
regulations approved by its Board of Directors at its 161th meeting held
on 24/10/1438 H, as follows:
Technical Regulations for Building Materials - Part 3: Hydraulic Links and Related Products.
Technical Regulations for Building Materials - Part 4: Bricks, Tiles, Ceramics, Sanitaryware and Related Products.
Technical regulation of front, rear and side barriers for trucks and trailers.
Technical regulations for electrical elevators used in buildings and installations.
